Week 7- Color| Shaer

This picture is a great example of the power of monochromatic color scheme. The simplistic use of color greatly influences mood and perception. The white matches perfectly with the simplicity of the product. White depicts the purity of the women and the bag. Monochromatic schemes also commonly unify and objects in the picture. The white also allows the objects in the image to stand out. The color saturation in the photograph exemplifies artistic direction. The darker features of the women and the gold embellishments on the bag really accentuate and add amazing contrast and interest to the advertisement.

This advertisement is a perfect example of a bold color palette. This image exemplifies a striking and vivid use of color. The creative director focused on implementing the use of complementary opposing colors. The colors they used also stimulate hunger. This advertisement not only establishes sharpness within the picture, but also draws the viewer and captures their attention. The red color of the frozen yogurt is impossible to ignore and the beautiful colors of the fruit truly stimulate the senses. Throughout this picture, there is a consistent use of warm and cool tones. I also noticed that all three color groupings are represented in this picture. There were very thoughtful color combinations. Upon first glance, you are instantly attracted to the image and notice the cohesiveness and beauty of the color scheme.
