I chose Cosmopolitan because it’s a very user-friendly page. As soon as you look at the page your eyes obviously go straight to the Cosmopolitan sign since it’s so big, and has very bright colors. The navigation bars under are aligned perfectly so you can pick whatever you want to look at.
However, the first thing I notice is the video box, and the links right next to it. Your eyes automatically lead you to the right side of the box, where the most “important” content is. Cosmopolitan puts an emphasis with bigger font sizes on what they want you to read the most. The most dominant item is the title itself and then the video. I think the bright colors, the simplicity of the page and its hierarchy makes it visually pleasing.
I think the layout and the structure is good. I like it and I find everything easy to use. Even when you scroll down everything(all the content) is aligned towards the right, and pics or images in the left. It's kind dividing the webpage through the middle.
