Week 11 Post

The website I chose that I find easy to navigate and make a transaction on is amazon.com. This website allows users to shop online easily. Features such as the shopping cart are easily accessible and allow shoppers to see what they are going to purchase with a simple click of the mouse. The search bar is placed at the top of the webpage making it easy for the users to search for the product that they wish to purchase. The sidebars located throughout the main page help users get what you want from a site as fast as possible. For example they have a sidebar for the newest items, a sidebar for quick searches, a sidebar for Men's and Women's best sellers. These sidebars also are good advertising because a user may enter a webpage looking to buy one thing but is attracted to more things by the sidebar advertisements. I also like the feature where once you purchase something there is a sidebar that shows different items related to or similar to the one you just purchased. The features that I use the most are the What's new and the department breakdown sidebar to help quicken and limit my searches.
