Week 10:Usability|Shaer

Usmagazine.com is a website that I frequent. Us Weekly’s website is both amusing and informative. It has up to date stories, pictures, tips, and movie trailers. Usmagazine.com is effortless to use. The latest news is located on the left sidebar and the website’s category links are on the top navigation bar. The main page is well oriented. The design of Us Weekly’s site is organized, enticing, visually appealing, and easy to use and navigate. Everything is placed into specific tabs and links that lead you to various options. These options allow you to click into different articles, photo galleries, movie previews, and much more. To eliminate confusion, the website maintains the same layout, despite the frequent updates. The website’s search engine, a Google custom search box, can be found in the top right corner. The search box allows the user to instantly broaden their knowledge on any topic. The feature I use the most often is the latest news section. I can get a quick glimpse at what is new and exciting and there are pictures; pictures always intrigue me.
