Despite the bad reputation of Cleveland sports, I use Indians.com every single day! I love the site and I think it's a great example of a well-designed site.
The nice thing about the site is that the top navigation bar gives the viewer MANY options, like:
schedule, roster, ticket sales, stats, scoreboard, shop, etc... Literally anything you need to know about the Indians is located right at the top navigation bar. That's the aspect I use the most, since I visit the site so often to check on the same things.
It's also nice because during games, the home page automatically displays current updates of all sorts for a given game. There is also always an accompanying story and photos to match the current game. It's nice to visit the site and immediately know who's at bat, who's pitching, what the score is, where the game is, etc... (though it's not better than going to the actual game :-)
The site also provides links to every kind of media available (television, radio, print, etc...) and tons of current headline stories for the Indians.
I really like the site, which is a good thing, since I'm always on it!
