1. ESPN's grid system organizes different sections of the website for easy access. On the top is a scoreboard with scores and all of the different sections of the website, under that is the featured story and main headlines, and finally there are highlighted writers and polls that viewers can vote in. The design is very good for sports fans that want to stay informed at all times.
2. The grid aids the viewer because if he of she wants the scores, they know to look at the top. If they want to see a specific article written by their favorite columnist, they go straight to the bottom. And if they are only interested in the latest news, it is right on the top to the right.
3. The structure is very engaging because of how easy everything is to locate. Plus, the specific sections on the top can offer even easier access to the news each person wants to find.
4. There is no tension because despite the lack of white space, all of the space used is necessary and flows well with the rest.
