It would make a lot of sense that a search engine should be simplistic and easy to use. Bing for the most part is just that. It allows you to search by topic, image, category all of which are a tab click away. Then it has your typical search bar, where you can open search anything that your heart may desire more information... however, Bing goes beyond your typical search engine. It is advertised as a "thinking" engine. Which implies that it has a personality. That it has characteristics that truly differ it from other search engines which is why it is a "think" engine. The creators of Bing attempted to do this by giving you the option of changing the background to an image that is more aesthetically pleasing.
